Volunteers Needed for the Contemporary Urban Centre NW.
Opening with the Liverpool Art Prize 2008 exhibition on Feb 28 and the Hawkins & Co exhibition on March 6, volunteer staff are urgently required for invigilating and possibly other duties.
The CUC - North West is a phenomenal building that offers an extensive range of facilities that provide businesses and the general public alike a venue in Liverpool to be truly proud of. It has been developed over a period of seven years, in a close partnership with local community groups and the city.
The venue covers 170,000 sq feet within a Grade 2 listed converted warehouse in a prominent location close to the city centre. It lies within an area of Liverpool increasingly labeled the 'Independent Arts Quarter' and is a major regeneration catalyst for the area.
